Tagged as: augsburg. augsburger dom. medieval architecture. cathedral. I miss visiting old cathedrals and churches. I somehow want BAROQUE'D to become a thing. like one of those crazy house-fixing shows. but they do it in Baroque. as I accidentally reblog everything on my personal blog nbd.

The Augsburger Dom: exterior, view down the nave, western choir, the crypt, detail of a Romanesque fresco, late medieval fresco, the Circumcision of Christ by Hans Holbein the Elder (!), altar from I don’t know when, the oldest pictorial stained glass in Europe, and the southwest portal.
